The 2019 campaign for Anti-bullying week is called Change Start with Us. I created this short story to drive an emotive response in the viewer, telling the narrative of one individual suffering from bullying in the classroom. The message focuses on a collective responsibility to initiate change and create a healthier culture in all schools and workplaces. By making small, simple changes, we can break the cycle and create a safer environment for everyone. Change starts with a conversation; it starts with checking in; it starts with working together.
From a school girl's point of view, she narrates the story of her experience with bullying. The twist at the end gets the audience to think about standing up for her - Change starts with us.
I created the storyboard and script. I also directed the voice-over and oversaw a team of motion designers to help me bring the animation to life.
