‘Zoom by Ocado’ is a delivery service that promises ‘incredible speed’ in bringing over 10,000 products to doors.
I was tasked to redesign and revamp the brand from 'Ocado Zoom', to 'Zoom by Ocado' featuring bright pink and yellow colours instead of green and blue, allowing the brand to stand out from competitors.
As the Lead on this project, I created all the brand assets, brand guidelines, and the entire look and feel, including the art direction of Zoom's photography.
Logo Design
I originally developed a unique Z shape for Zoom’s emblem. It’s shaped like a road symbolising that it can deliver from
A to B at speed. While the logo was in development, the emblem's unfortunate comparisons with the Russian ‘swastika' meant that the emblem in the logo was removed.

For the wordmark, I customised the hero font 'Brevia', adding a flick on the end of the 'm' and tilting it to add that little extra bit of motion and speed.

Photography
I created a new photography style for Zoom's brand. The products were strategically placed on the Z to give the impression of them travelling along the road. This creates a movement that would not normally appear in a still image.
